God is worthy of our praise and in prayer, we can express our gratitude to Him. When we express gratitude through prayer, we will choose to focus on our many blessings and not our challenges.
This also gives us the calm assurance that we are never alone and the blessings of God will continue to be outpoured on us daily.
When we seek the Lord in prayer, we become more peaceful knowing that God is there to guide and protect us and to help us when we face temptations.

Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites.
